About the Company: First American Roofing & Siding, Inc. is a fast-growing and industry-leading contractor that specializes in exterior residential and commercial renovations. We are looking to hire a Sales Manager to support our company’s mission to be the contractor of choice in our community, the client of choice for our trade partners, and the employer of choice in our industry.
About the Position: This individual will be responsible for driving the sales team to surpass targets by devising and executing strategies that align with company objectives, while also fostering the team's skills through leadership and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets by developing and executing sales strategies that support the company’s objectives.
  • Elevate the team’s skills and techniques through leading, training, and motivation.
  • Champion improvements in the customer life cycle from the initial lead through closing to ensure superior customer service.
  • Continuously review and enhance our sales presentations used during the proposal process.
  • Monitor activity in our CRM to ensure the sales team is following the customer life cycle and provide corrective action when needed.
  • Work closely with the Production team to ensure project feasibility and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to the Leadership Team.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its services.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies based on data collected.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyzing data to identify trends, performance, and areas for improvement.
  • Management of customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Liaising with the Leadership Team to ensure cohesion between Sales and other departments.
  • Model the importance of self-development by creating and participating in personal growth activities.

To qualify for this team you must:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of roofing products, services, and the construction industry is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite.
